HEY, I'M PEAUSH PAUL

Hailing from the vibrant tech and cultural hub of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, my journey began with a curiosity for how complex systems communicate beneath the surface. That drive led me to Techno Main Salt Lake, where I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA, Class of 2024–2028). From the outset, I treated my academic curriculum not as a boundary, but as a launchpad. While coursework laid the foundation for data structures and core algorithms, the global open-source community taught me how resilient software thrives in production.

Early in my development path, I recognized that robust applications depend on thoughtful system architecture—low-latency database design, modular component structure, and streamlined deployment pipelines. Eager to build beyond classroom sandboxes, I immersed myself in the open-source ecosystem.

Contributing to open-source projects fundamentally sharpened my engineering philosophy. It pushed me to navigate large, unfamiliar codebases, adhere to rigorous testing and documentation standards, and collaborate asynchronously with engineers worldwide. Every merged pull request and code review reinforced the importance of writing clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.

Today, my focus sits at the intersection of full-stack engineering, cloud deployments, and distributed systems. Whether architecting database schemas, optimizing web performance, or shipping meaningful contributions to community repositories, I approach engineering with a problem-solver’s mindset.
